The Auxiliary Police is divided into various local community units, allowing for members to make a more direct impact on their community. Each community unit operates within one of Nassau County's eight police precincts.
Not every community has a unit, however every community in Nassau County is covered by the Auxiliary Police. If you're interested in joining the Auxiliary Police, we recommend joining the unit closest to where you live.
